  • Make sure the interior and exterior of the unit are completely free of any food particles. We will not be responsible for any reimbursements or damages that occur due to unclean items. Dirty units will be refused service.

  • The maximum size for a television or computer monitor to be stored is a diagonal screen size of 55 inches or less.

Plastic Drawers

  • Lightweight items can be stored within plastic drawers, but avoid over-packing to prevent damage to the structure of the drawers. Be mindful of the weight, as these drawers can come apart easily.

  • Tape all drawers shut to prevent them from sliding open during transport.

  • If any section of the plastic drawers comes apart when lifted, tape or bind the entire set together.

  • To prevent loss, remove any wheels or casters and store them within the plastic drawers, in a box, or a plastic bin, or take them with you in your suitcase.

  • The weight limit for any set of plastic drawers is 25 lbs, but consider using less weight if it makes the unit unstable when lifted.

Desks

  • Desks eligible for storage must have no more than four legs and a solid flat top.

* Important Considerations Regarding Particle Board Furniture

When it comes to furniture crafted from press board and particle board, there are crucial factors to bear in mind. These materials are intentionally designed to be transported unassembled—from the manufacturer to the retailer and ultimately to the customer. They are not engineered to withstand the rigors of being moved as fully assembled units. Your particle board furniture’s longevity depends on handling it with care. If you choose to move it, disassemble and pack it thoughtfully. Your furniture’s well-being is in your hands!

6

Bookcases

  • All shelves must be removed and taped together, then packed separately. We recommend storing loose shelves in one of our bins or a box you will take home. We will not be responsible for lost shelves if these instructions are not followed.

  • Bookcases made of particle board are often unsuitable for transport. We suggest you take apart the item securing the pieces together with protective bubble wrap and tape for easier transport and to avoid damage. Please be aware that we cannot ensure your item will remain damage-free.*

  • The maximum height or width for a bookcase is 5 feet.

  • Before starting the storage process, make sure to remove all bedding and mattress protectors. This is an essential first step.

  • After removing the bedding, use a vacuum with a hose attachment to thoroughly clean both sides of the mattress topper. This will help eliminate dust, hair, and other debris.

  • If there are any stains, treat them before storing the topper. Use a gentle stain remover and a washcloth to blot out the stains. Avoid using too much liquid to prevent mold or mildew.

  • To keep your mattress topper fresh, sprinkle a layer of baking soda over it and let it sit for a few hours. Afterward, vacuum up the baking soda. Repeat if necessary to remove any lingering odors.

  • Ensure the mattress topper is completely dry before storing. Air dry for at least 24 hours to prevent mold and mildew from forming.

  • Once clean and dry, roll the mattress topper tightly. This makes it easier to store and prevents damage. Do not fold the topper, as folding can cause permanent creases and cracks.

  • Place the rolled topper into a vacuum-sealed bag to compress it and protect it from dust, dirt, and pests. If a vacuum-sealed bag isn’t available, use tape to seal the bag. Alternatively, tie the rolled topper with straps to keep it secure.
