Are you a moving company?No, we're not a moving company. We don’t pack your items or enter your room/unit. We strictly offer storage services. All items need to be small and portable enough for the student to bring to the curb for pickup. If you have items that don’t fit in our bins, these are considered add-ons and are charged separately from our standard $395 Summer Storage Service, which includes 5 eco-friendly moving bins, 1 rolling dollie, and storage from May to August. We hire third-party contractors to handle the loading of storage bins and any add-ons.

Is there a delivery fee?For our Student Summer Storage service, the $395 fee covers everything: drop-off of empty bins a week before your move-out date, pick-up of packed bins and any add-ons, summer storage, and fall delivery of your bins and add-ons. For our Ship Ahead service, there is a $250 delivery fee, plus $25 per filled bin. For our Semester Abroad service, each contract is quoted on a base by case basis as international programs vary in length. However, the pricing would look very similar to our Student Summer Storage service where a single fee covers everything: drop-off of empty bins a week before your move-out date, pick-up of packed bins and any add-ons, storage while you are overseas, and delivery of your bins and add-ons once you return to campus. What if I have additional items that I need to store that won't fit in the bins?If you have additional items that need storage, such as dorm refrigerators, bicycles, futons, or other belongings, please consult our Pricing page for any additional charges associated with storing these items.

What if I need more bins?If you require extra bins or wish to extend your rental period, please email us at hello@taystoragesolutions.com and we will assist you in adding the necessary supplies to your order.

Can I use your service if I live off-campus?Absolutely! We offer pickup/drop-off services for items located off-campus, as long as they are within a 2-mile radius of your campus. For locations beyond 2 miles from the campus, please contact us to determine the possibility of accommodating your move. You can reach us by emailing hello@taystoragesolutions.com.

What is the level of cleanliness for the bins?We utilize steam cleaning and sanitization processes to meet FDA-approved standards before preparing them for the next student.

Can I have my bins delivered anytime I want?No, we have one designated date for Spring pick-up and one for Fall delivery. The specific dates are determined by each university, based on when we're allowed on campus with our box truck. Typically, our delivery occurs on the first business day after the move-in/move-out weekend. For example, in Fall 2024, move-in dates were August 16th to 18th. Large trucks like ours were not permitted on campus during this weekend at both CCU and UNCW. We delivered to our UNCW clients on the 19th and our CCU clients on the 20th.
